Wealth of a Nation is an entertainment and participation platform. It is not an investment, a security, a wager, a lottery, a sweepstake, a game of chance, a savings product, or a financial service of any kind. No dot has any cash value, resale value, or redemption value. There is no payout and no possibility of financial gain.
All prior months shown on this platform are retroactively auto-populated for perspective. They illustrate how a race unfolds. They are not a record of real purchases, real people, or real money. Names, cities and statements shown on historical dots are generated. Only dots purchased from launch onward are real.
Population figures, income figures and any other reference statistics are approximate, drawn from third-party sources, may be out of date, and may be wrong. They are shown for context only, never affect the standings, and must not be relied on for research, reporting, investment, academic or any other purpose. We make no representation that any figure on this platform is accurate.
Flag renderings are simplified dot mosaics and are not exact reproductions. Inclusion, exclusion, naming, grouping or omission of any nation, state, territory, people, culture or diaspora is not a political statement and expresses no position on sovereignty, borders, recognition, legitimacy, or any territorial or historical dispute. No endorsement of, or affiliation with, any government, state, nation or organisation is claimed or implied.
The board counts dots purchased. It does not measure, rank or represent the income, net worth, wealth, worth, merit, status or standing of any group or person. Any inference otherwise is the reader's alone.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any race will open, run, or close at any particular time.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER THE OPERATOR NOR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, PARTNERS OR BENEFICIARIES SHALL BE LIABLE TO ANY USER OR ENTITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, REPUTATION OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS PLATFORM — INCLUDING PARTICIPATION IN ANY RACE, RELIANCE ON ANY FIGURE SHOWN, ANY OFFENCE TAKEN AT ANY FLAG, GROUPING OR RESULT, ANY INTERRUPTION, ANY VOIDED OR EXTENDED RACE, AND ANY ACT OF ANY OTHER USER.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars.
By purchasing a dot you confirm you are 18 or over, that you are spending money you can afford to spend with no expectation of return, that you have read the Terms of Use, and that you release the operator from any claim arising from your participation. If you do not accept this, do not take part.
Payments are processed by third parties under their own terms. The named charitable beneficiary is an independent organisation; we do not control how it applies funds and are not responsible for its acts or omissions.

You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding contract. We may refuse, cancel or refund any purchase at our discretion.
A dot is a $1 participation record. Buying one places a marked position inside a flag for the current monthly race, carrying the first name, location and approved statement you supply.
A dot is not a security or investment; a wager, lottery ticket or game of chance; a currency, token or tradable asset; ownership of any flag, image, territory or people; or a donation made by you directly to any charity. There is no prize pool, no payout and no possibility of financial gain.
Dots are non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire when the month closes.
Each race opens at 12:01 a.m. on the first of the month and closes at 11:59 p.m. on the last day. Every flag starts empty. Foreign flags hold 1,000,000 dots; state flags hold 100,000.
Standings reflect dots purchased and nothing else. They do not measure income, net worth or the wealth of any nation, people or group. Reference figures shown on a flag are third-party statistics for context only and never affect standings.
We may extend, pause, void or restart a race for technical failure, suspected manipulation or legal reasons, and will publish any change.
Flags include sovereign states and also peoples and diasporas without one. Inclusion or exclusion is not a political statement and takes no position on sovereignty, borders or recognition. Flags overlap on purpose; most people belong to several.
A first name, a location, an optional crew name, and a statement chosen from our approved list. Free text is not permitted anywhere on this platform. We may remove any dot, name or crew name and refund it, at any time, without notice.
You must not manipulate standings by automated means, use bots or scrapers, interfere with the platform, or misrepresent who you are.
A standing order repeats your purchase on the first of each month until you cancel. Cancel any time; cancellation applies from the next race.
We commit 20% of gross dot revenue, calculated before processing fees, to Health of a Nation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 84-4956859. Your purchase is a payment to us, not a donation by you to the charity, and is not tax-deductible to you. We publish a monthly ledger. Final decisions on how funds are used rest with the charity.
Full refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason, provided the month has not closed and the charity share has not been remitted. We refund automatically where a race is voided, a charge is duplicated, or we remove your dot. See the full Refund Policy.
The platform, its software, design, wordmark and renderings are ours. National flag designs are largely public domain; our dot renderings of them are not. You may share screenshots and certificates for personal use with attribution.
The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past twelve months or $100. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be removed, and consumers in the EU and UK keep their statutory rights.
We may amend these terms with at least 14 days' notice, taking effect at the start of a new race. Questions: legal@wealthofanation.com.

Wealth of a Nation is a live, monthly, worldwide competition between 120 nations, peoples and cultures. Each one gets an empty flag on the page. Each foreign flag holds exactly one million dots; each state flag holds one hundred thousand. Every dot costs one dollar. When you buy a dot, you choose where on your flag it lands, and your dot lights up in your flag's colors — permanently, with your first name and your city attached to it.
As the dots fill in, the flag appears. As flags fill faster than their neighbors, they climb the board and pass each other in real time. On the last midnight of every month the race closes, a winner is declared, and every flag on Earth goes empty again on the first.
The standings measure dots bought — how many people turned out for a flag this month, and what they were willing to put behind it. A small people with a loud diaspora beats a large quiet one. That is the whole game.
Income and net worth are a footnote here, kept on the back of each flag for reference only. They never move the standings.
Reference income figures shown on a flag come from the U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey detailed-ancestry tables. Figures that could not be traced to a Census or Pew table are marked unverified and are not used for ranking.
Country flags run alongside peoples and ancestries. A Nigerian-American can cast dots for the United States, for Nigerian and for Pan-African in the same month — all three are real, and all three count separately.
So the totals across flags add up to more than the number of people playing. Filter by group type to see countries, ancestries, broad categories or heritage banners on their own.
State flags are simplified. Most US state flags carry a detailed seal, which cannot be reproduced in a dot field. Field colours, layouts and emblem shapes follow the real flag; seals are rendered as coloured shapes, not artwork.
Groups tied to a country use that country's flag. Peoples without a state — Pan-African, Indigenous, Roma, Kurdish and others — use their recognised heritage banner. Broad census categories use a designed banner, not an official flag.
